Most programs treat youth work, school fees, and community development as three separate problems. We run them as one loop — because the same school break that pushes a student toward unsafe work is the one when community projects need hands most.

Serve
Students admitted to a cohort are placed on community projects run by partner missions and organizations during school breaks. Every placement has a named supervisor.

Verify
When the work is done, the supervisor reviews it and assigns Community Value Credits for effort, quality, and collaboration. Only the supervisor can do this.

Redeem
SchoolMission converts credits into a one-time voucher — a QR code and a PIN, valid for thirty days at the student's own school — for tuition, meals, or textbooks.

Reimburse
The school confirms the voucher at the counter, delivers the service, and is paid its value by mobile money. Every step is on the record.

To keep the loop honest
No cash ever passes to a student. Vouchers are one-time and expire. Credit records can't be edited or deleted. And nobody but the supervising organization can assign a credit.
Two loops, one system

The service loop runs in Ghana. The funding loop runs in the United States.
Every summer, SchoolMission places US students in paid positions at partner camps and churches. They earn wages, build skills, and put a share of what they earn toward their own education — and a share toward the credit pool that pays for a student's school year in Ghana. Each of them is matched to the student they're helping fund and can follow their progress.
